Polestar Pilates Mat practitioner
Alison qualified as a Polestar Pilates Mat practitioner in 2017 and was mentored by V Pilates director, Vikki throughout her apprenticeship and training. Alison, having worked in the corporate world in London, is herself a keen triathlon participant with a special interest in Pilates for good technique and injury prevention for runners, cyclists and swimmers. Alison teaches the Tuesday 7:15pm Mat class, which is suitable for anyone with back or joint pain, or beginners. And the 8:10pm Mat class, ideal for those who would like support with their running, cycling or swimming programmes.

Lucy qualified as a Polestar Pilates Mat practitioner in May 2023 and has been a regular student at the V Pilates studio since 2018. She has a particular interest in the links between Pilates and mindfulness practice, and how Pilates offers a way to enhance mind-body connections and present moment awareness and support mental wellbeing.
